Shia, Previously known as Waleed Arabic /الوليد/, Lebanese Jordanian singer-songwriter, dancer, Actor, and Model. Who has a B.A in Theater Arts and graduated on top of College of arts and design. Known with a unique style of music and exotic voice, was noticed by the public worldwide on the social media pages, with big green beautiful eyes, and exotic style. First media mention about Shia was in 2010 when an American New Media, Journalist, Author & Broadcaster 'Caludia Cragg' was doing a project about Jordan in the middle east and chose Waleed's voice to be featured on the website she made 'Random Tales Across Jordan' by picking one of Shias exotic songs.

An American music manager 'Lamont Burrell' based in Los Angeles saw something different in Shia and thought he could introduce Shia to the Americans, by inviting Shia to the US. An impressive recommendation letter was given to the US embassy in Jordan by a famous Hollywood music video director 'Dustin Robertson' who worked with the biggest names in the music industry such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and more.

In 2013 Shia had an appearance on the Arabic version of 'X Factor', and didn't go through, but the media spoke about Shias audition music being dubbed and played with the music Shia refused to sing to from the start , mentioning that it's not the correct note for Shias voice, and the show was accused of incredibility by a famous Lebanese Magazine in the middle east 'Al Jaras', and the show was stopped in the next year. Which lead to a live Interview for Shia on a Jordanian famous tv channel 'Ro'ya', where Shia demanded to sing live with no echo to his voice to prove to his audience that he can sing.

In 2014 Shia started to spread worldwide on facebook and on the internet, with modest home made creative videos, and singing in 4 languages made Shia reach to the world faster, adding uniqueness that distinguish Shia from all artists out there. Many blogs published Shias pictures, a Spanish website 'Cristian Music Italia' wrote an article about Shia, mentioning Shias unique and noticeable spread on the internet and the influential character Shia has on people worldwide. A famous website 'The Perfect Human Face' that has a group of Scientists, Professors, Researchers, Plastic Surgeons, psychologists, and Beauty Experts who study humans' perfect face features, and feature most beautiful people around the world, featured Shia on their website, putting Shia in second place as one of the top most beautiful Arabic faces world wide, also being voted as the most beautiful Arabic eyes in the world. All Arab world news, magazines, blogs, and tv shows spoke about it, and lead to big publicity that until now Shia is mentioned in the media.

In 2015 Shia had an appearance in the show 'Arabs Got Talent', which in Shia didn't carry on the audition after finding out that everything is just an 'Act' right before entering on stage the producers told Shia that you will receive two buzzes and you must convince them, Shia decided to stop the audition and leave the stage. After this show the media spoke about the secret of Shias short appearnce in the show, and started a big talk in the media.

In 2015 a Lebanese newspaper 'Lebanon Files' announced Shia to be the first Arabic singer to be interviewed and recognized for a full interview on an American TV in history of Arab show business. The interview was with "Victoria Vanayerst" on her show 'The Art of Conscious Living' that airs in San Francesco, full skype interview that lasted an hour.

In 2016 Shia decided to change the stage name from (Waleed) that was known on Media to be born again with the name Shia. and was picked by Vevo to put one of his arab Folklore songs on its channel, Shia released two albums on itunes distributed by Horus Music /UK , the first album contained 40 songs in English written by Shia under the title (Out of My Skin), the other album was in Arabic under the title (Desert Eyes)
